Volodya Ostrovsky is one of the original settlers of Pern.
Biography
Landing and before Second Crossing
He and his wife Sonja Ostrovsky were mining engineer specialists recruited for the expedition. They worked at Karachi Camp before the Second Crossing.
Telgar Hold
They later became knowing residents of Telgar Hold. He like telling stories with lords and ladies in them.

He has a bass voice. He was hard working.
