Steng Valley was located in Bitra.
In the First Interval, Lord Holder Chalkin wanted to reactivate the mines in the valley, but according to Masterminer Kalvi, they were unsafe and the ore was second-rate. When Vergerin succeeded Chalkin, Paulin noticed that Vergerin had a map of Steng Valley on his wall and wondered if he was planning to reopen the mines.
