Silstra, also called Sis, was the daughter of Miner Danil at Camp Natalon late in the Second Interval. By early in the Third Pass, she was working with Zenor at the Goldhall of Plains Hold, which had been designated a smithcraft.
Biography[]
Silstra was Kindan's eldest sister and was married to Terregar. Silstra and Terregar had two children, one of whom died during the flu pandemic.
Before her marriage to Terregar (the first marriage to be held at Camp Natalon), Sis often stood in for Natalon's wife Jenella (who was very pregnant), ever since the families had moved up to the camp six months earlier.
When Fiona and Zenor went to the Smithcrafthall to request that Mastersmith Veclan allow them to set up a gold mining hall near Nuella's Wherhold at Plains Hold, they discovered that Silstra was working for Veclan. After Veclan approved the mine, Silstra and Terregar agreed to join Zenor at the mine. Fiona later commented, "It's Silstra that runs the place. I'm surprised Veclan was willing to let her go; she was doing much the same at the Smith Hall."

Zenor said that Silstra was the best cook and organizer and she knew all about healing.
