Roth was a green dragon at Southern Weyr during the Ninth Pass. Her rider was G'sel.

On one page in Dragonquest, P'zar is listed as the rider of bronze Roth. On another page, while G'sel is talking to F'nor, he says, " ... until I Impressed Roth." However, in "The People of Pern", G'sel's dragon is listed as Siroth. Siroth's name is found only in "The People of Pern".
In The Dragonlover's Guide to Pern, while G'sel is said to have a green dragon that is not named, P'zar is listed as the rider of bronze Roth.
