Fort Weyr Shield

Roth was a bronze dragon at Fort Weyr. His rider was P'zar.

History Edit

Following the duel between F'lar and T'ron, that resulted in many Oldtimers being banished to Southern Weyr, P'zar was appointed acting Fort Weyrleader. He was succeeded as Weyrleader by N'ton after N'ton's Lioth flew Margatta's Luduth.

Inconsistency Edit

On one page in Dragonquest, P'zar is listed as the rider of bronze Roth. On another page, while G'sel is talking to F'nor, he says, " ..... until I Impressed Roth." However, in 'The People of Pern', G'sel's dragon is listed as Siroth. Siroth's name is found only in 'The People of Pern'.

In The Dragonlover's Guide to Pern, while G'sel is said to have a green dragon that is not named, P'zar is listed as the rider of bronze Roth.
