Porrig Connell was a colonist on Pern. He was the leader of one of the groups of traveling folk.
Biography
Porrig was the father of Sean Connell.
When the colonists landed on Pern, Porrig took his group and settled far from Landing. After the first Threadfall, he and his people lived in caves.
Personality and traits
Porrig and his wife did not approve of Sean's relationship with Sorka Hanrahan. When Thread fell on Pern and Porrig was forced to kill his stallion, he expected that Sean would allow his stallion Cricket to service Porrig's mares.
