Peter Chernoff was a colonist on Pern.
Biography
Peter was stationed at Seminole Stake during the evacuation to the Northern Continent. When the dragonriders arrived, it was his job to tell them that no one would fly the next Threadfall and that Emily Boll had been badly injured. He provided the riders of the gold dragons with flamethrowers as they prepared to fly north to Fort Hold. He then called his brother Jacob at Fort to tell him the dragonriders were coming.
Personality and traits
When the dragonriders made their demands of him, Peter was worried about the equipment they were taking and whether that would leave Seminole defenseless.
