Olga was one of the original 25 sentient dolphins who made the journey to Pern on the Bahrain during the First Crossing.
Biography[]
Since she was older than she said she was, the fact that Olga died shortly after the colonists landed on Pern was taken with considerable equanimity by her community.

She hadn't wanted her last calf to go into the unknown without her.
