Nyassa Clissmann was one of the original eighteen dragonriders of Pern. Her dragon was gold Milath and was part of Sean Connell's wing.
She accompanied Sean and Sorka Hanrahan in the investigation of Ted Tubberman's disappearance. While Sorka and other dragonriders evacuated Mary Tubberman and her children, Nyassa went with Paul Logorides and Jerry Mercer to find Tubberman's escaped animals.
When Sean announced the formation of new Weyrs, Nyassa was amongst those assigned to Telgar Weyr.
Appearance and personality[]
According to Sean, Nyassa would not panic in stressful situations. After her wing accidentally went between for the first time and emerged safely, she yelled in triumph.
