Nara was the Weyrwoman at Fort Weyr late in the Second Interval. Her dragon was gold Hinirth. Nara was weyrwoman before Cisca. Her weyrmate was Weyrleader D'mal.
After Nara and Hinirth went between forever, Fort Weyr headwoman Melanwy would occasionally mistake the current weyrleaders for D'mal and Nara, because Melanwy had wanted to go with Nara and Hinirth when they went between forever.

D'mal and Nara are mentioned as leaders of Fort Weyr in different historical periods. The first time is at the end of the First Pass / First Interval in Dragonsblood, the second time at the end of the Second Interval in Dragonheart. Since it is difficult to imagine the random complete coincidence of the names, positions and places of life of people who lived at different times, it can be assumed that this is one of the author's mistakes.
