Malay River Weyrhold was a prospective Weyrhold on the North Coast of the Cathay province on the Southern Continent during the Ninth Pass.

Eighth Interval / Ninth Pass[]
A weyrhold was established by retiring High Reaches Weyrleaders M'rand and Pilgra on the North Coast of Cathay Province. Since their noted location had ancient ruins nearby, it is possible that their hold was built on or near the ruins of Malay River Stake (number 15 on the map), the only coastal stake in Cathay.
