M'rit was a dragonrider in the Second Interval and Third Pass. His dragon was blue Jalith.
Biography
When Igen Weyr had to be abandoned, M'rit and the other dragonriders had moved to Telgar Weyr.
D'gan, Telgar's Weyrleader, thought of him as an «oldster» as he had been inhabitants of the Weyr as far as he could remember. M'rit's blue dragon, Jalith, was one of the first, if not the first dragon at Telgar Weyr to fall sick with the Dragon Plague.
K'rem, Telgar Weyr's Dragonhealer, recommended that Jalith be allowed to rest, but D'gan forbade this, believing him and his rider to be shirking their responsibilities, and ordered them to complete that day's training, after which K'rem would be allowed to treat Jalith.
