M'leng was a dragonrider at Telgar Weyr late in the First Interval and early in the Second Pass. His dragon was green Sith.
Biography[]
M'leng's wingleader was V'last and his weyrmate was P'tero.
After P'tero dove off his blue Ormonth during the flyover demonstration, M'leng scolded him for making such a risky move. Although P'tero was in no real danger due to his fighting straps, he still caused quite a scare to M'leng and Ormonth.
When Telgar Weyr visited the Southern Continent to check up on the grubs, M'leng and P'tero took their dragons to find herdbeasts. After sending the dragons off to eat, they were attacked by a pride of lions. M'leng's shoulder was clawed while P'tero received wounds to his legs and buttocks. M'leng's injuries were not as severe, since P'tero had inadvertently shielded the green rider with his own body.
Due to M'leng being unconscious during the feline attack, he believed that P'tero had been very heroic, and was full of gratitude. He described the event to Iantine, who made a painting of the scene. Both P'tero and M'leng got copies of the painting and M'leng hung it up in his weyr.
Personality and Traits[]
M’leng was described as a tall, handsome man. His body was compact, with a strong and agile frame. He had green eyes and curly dark brown hair.
He cared very much about P'tero, and though he never said it aloud, he was worried that his weyrmate would be killed by Thread. M'leng asked Iantine to secretly do a portrait of P'tero, so he'd have it if anything should ever happen to P'tero.
