Fort Weyr Shield

M'kury was a wingleader at Fort Weyr late in the Second Interval and early in the Third Pass. His dragon was bronze Burinth.

M’kury was a weyrmate of K'lior; they had Impressed at the same time.

After T'jen's brown Salith died in his weyr, M'kury and other dragonriders used slings and hoists to lift the body out of the weyr, then dragons took it between.

M'kury bickered with H'nez at a wingleader meeting at Fort Weyr.

«You know why we've no healer, H'nez», M'kury growled. «It's because you goaded old Sitarin into that duel.» — Dragonheart
H'nez wasn't happy when he was later assigned to fly in M’kury’s wing.

When Cisca's Melirth rose to mate, Burinth caught her first, with Rineth being a distant third. But, Rineth finally succeeded in flying Melirth.

Personality and Traits

M’kury was enthusiastic, outgoing, but perhaps overexuberant. He was also blunt in the extreme, which often rubbed people the wrong way. K’lior had no problem with it, as he had learned that M’kury expected no less in return. In fact, K’lior found it refreshing, even if occasionally overwhelming, to know that M’kury would never refrain from speaking his mind.
