M'gel was a dragonrider late in the Second Interval and early in the Third Pass. His dragon was bronze Turenth. M'gel was Searched for Eastern Weyr after Fiona and T'mar led a group of weyrlings back in time.
M'gel was one of the youngest of the fourteen bronze riders who had Impressed the only eggs to survive the great clutch of Eastern Weyr.

Since he was neither apologetic about his age nor jealous of the temporary rank he'd assumed, when the bronze riders had all completed their two-month duties M'gel had been selected as the first to take another month-long round.
