Garth was a gold fire lizard that was bonded to Lorana.
When Lorana and Colfet escaped the Wind Rider, Garth and Grenn, Lorana's other fire lizard, accompanied them. Both fire lizards were sick from the dragon plague. When a terrible storm hit, Lorana tried to save her fire lizards by sending them away from her. They both ended up at the College at the end of the First Pass, but Garth died from the plague.
