G'ren (later Giren) was a dragonrider at Ista Weyr late in the Second Interval and early in the Third Pass. His dragon was Kamenth.
Biography[]
After Kamenth fell ill with the Dragon Plague and went between forever, Giren's fellow rider T'lerin (and likely Weyrmate), spent some time comforting him.
Later, T'lerin's own dragon Valorth fell ill with the plague and also went between forever. When Weyrleader C'rion suggested that Giren be sent to T'lerin to comfort him, J'lantir thought Telerin might blame him for Valorth's sickness and death. After C'rion suggested that Weyrhealer G'trial be sent to help, it was discovered that he was in a fellis-induced sleep following the death of his own dragon. Ultimately, J'lantir offered to help Telerin.
