Fanna was the senior Weyrwoman at Ista Weyr late in the Eighth Pass and early in the Ninth Pass. Her dragon was gold Mirath.
Biography
Fanna originally resided in the Eighth Pass. After Impressing gold Mirath, she became senior Weyrwoman of Ista Weyr. She had a close relationship with D'ram, Ista's Weyrleader. Led by Lessa, Fanna traveled to the Ninth Pass with D'ram and the rest of Ista Weyr. She remained the senior Weyrwoman until the fifteenth year of the Ninth Pass, at which time she succumbed to a «… wasting sickness that nothing seemed to halt» from which she had been «declining gradually». Following her death, D'ram stepped down as Weyrleader, because he lacked the heart to continue on after Fanna's death. Fanna was succeeded as Senior Weyrwoman by Cosira, whose dragon was gold Caylith.
Appearance and Personality
Fanna had black graying hair, and brown eyes.
