Dalia was Weyrwoman for Ista Weyr late in the Second Interval and early in the Third Pass. Her dragon was gold Bidenth.
Biography
Dalia was Senior Weyrwoman at Ista Weyr for over twenty Turns with C'rion. When the Dragon Plague occurred, they pored over the records at the Weyr to see if they could find anything that would lead to a cure.
When C'rion went between forever after being fatally injured by a rising clump of Threadfall, J'lantir became acting Istan Weyrleader. Then, when M'tal's Gaminth flew Dalia's Bidenth, M'tal became weyrleader of Ista Weyr.
Later, when J'lian's Neruth flew Jassi’s Falth, J'lian and Jassi became the new weyrleaders of Ista Weyr.
Personality and traits
Even though she was still mourning the loss of C'rion, Dalia would not show it in front of his men. After Dalia became close friends with Jassi, she decided to coax Jassi onto the Hatching Grounds the next time there was a queen egg.
