Cardiff Hold was one of the minor holds in the Southern Continent. It was located at the former Cardiff Stake.
The herds at Cardiff were often beset by felines, so the holders would request the help of the dragonriders from Monaco Bay Weyr to hunt the felines and shepherd their herdbeasts.
