Betrice was a midwife at Harper Hall late in the Eighth Interval.
Betrice delivered Robinton and helped Healer Ginia take care of Merelan after the birth. Following Robinton's birth, Betrice continued to care for Merelan and kept an eye on her health.
Robinton was resident in Harper Hall when Betrice died of sudden failure of her heart. Even though she had been ill for a while, her death was unexpected.
