Bart Lemos was one of the original settlers of Pern. He was a shuttle pilot with mining as a secondary skill.
Biography
Bart was one of the twelve shuttle pilots aboard the Yokohama and was co-pilot with Nabhi Nabol.
His contracted stake was Yukon Stake, where he mined gold nuggets that he gave to Avril Bitra to hide according to the pact she made on the Yokohama.
Avril didn't share a lot of her planning with him because when he had a few mugs of quikal he became loose lipped.
He was involved in the daring attempt to retrieve samples of live Thread — using the Moth, one of the last operational shuttles — in exchange for a stake hold encompassing the whole of Big Island. He died along with Nabhi Nabol upon reentry to Pern.
Lemos Hold was named for him.
