B'zon was a dragonrider in the Eighth and Ninth Passes. He was one of the Oldtimer dragonriders that was exiled to Southern Weyr. His dragon, bronze Ranilth, tried to fly Cosira's Caylith so B'zon could assume the Weyrleader position at Ista Weyr, but Ranilth was too old and fell out of the flight.
