A'dan was a dragonrider at Fort Weyr late in the Sixth Pass. His dragon was green Tigrath. His weyrmate was F'duril, whose dragon was blue Dilenth.
Biography[]
A'dan was very surprised when his Weyrleader Sh'gall reminded him that contact with anyone outside the weyr was forbidden, to prevent the spread of the feline-caused flu plague.
When Dilenth received a serious threadscore injury, Moreta asked A'dan to assist with the treatment. Moreta explained that, since A'dan and F'duril were weyrmates, both Dilenth and F'duril would both find it reassuring to have him helping them and F'duril would know that he would be the most loving and gentle nurse that Dilenth could have.
When Moreta saw that A'dan was unsure of his ability to help, Moreta told him to not think of it as a dragon wing. Instead, "think of it as a fine summer tunic that needs mending." She then talked him through the process of completing the repair.
